The West Tyrone Association of the Ulster Unionist Party are again miles ahead of the other parties with the revelation last week that they will use as few posters as possible in the forthcoming General Election campaign.

The announcement last week was made my the local campaign manager Ryan Moses. Mr Moses told the press that, “The management committee of the Ulster Unionist Association here in West Tyrone have decided that saturating West Tyrone in election posters is not an appropriate or effective se of resources.

“There is nothing worse than a town or village being plastered in election posters. Not only are they unsightly during the campaign they remain for far too long so during Ross Husseys’ campaign we have decided to have as few election posters as possible

“In addition to being a nuisance election posters don’t get you very many votes. We have an excellent candidate in Ross Hussey and the amount of support form all the people of West Tyrone has been astounding and that’s without posters.

“Tom Buchanan and others can fill the countryside with all the election posters they want but the reality is the people of West Tyrone will not be conned by some half crafted story about how great the DUP are. Paisley and crew lead many up the garden path and 2007 and the people will not be DUPed twice

“Ross Hussey, as a conservative and Unionist, is the only candidate who will be able to give the people of West Tyrone the representation they deserve – posters or not.”
